Most of you know how much I love Alice in Wonderland and my passion for AIW goes hand in hand with my passion for altered game art. When I was invited to participate in an Alice in Wonderland blog hop to celebrate the 150th Birthday of the Book hosted by Suzi Baker McKensie I could not resist! I wasn't sure if I was going to get the blog roll in time before I'm away from my computer for a while so more names could have been added to the blog roll already but Suzi kindly let me still play and provided the blog roll early enough for me to add at least a partial list to my post! Thx Suzi for your understanding and letting me still play!

Today we are celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland, and what better way to do that, than to share lots of creative projects inspired by this wonderful story.
Not only will you see lots of amazing artwork today, but you can also win prizes from the following amazing companies;

Today I'm sharing a set of altered
Bendomino "Alice in Wonderland" Push Pins. I love using Bendominoes for
my Alice projects, which are curved dominoes, coz the quirkiness of
their shape ties in so nicely with the quirkiness of the entire
Wonderland story!
The Alice in Wonderland illustration stamps I used are available at Lost Coast Designs. We have a whole category dedicated to Alice so stop by and check them all out!
I
used the tri-colour Pearlescent Brilliance ink pad called Tiramisu to create
the variegated background on the surface of all 4 Bendominoes and heat
set before stamping the Lost Coast Designs Wonderland images
with black Archival ink and then heat set again. Each Bendomino was
edged with a broad point metallic liquid gold DecoColor paint pen and
Tim Holtz paper tape with a script design, cut in half to fit, was
applied around the sides. I used Judikins Diamond Glaze to seal the
design and the sides of all the Bendominoes and adhered flat topped
metal push pins to the backs with E6000 glue.
