DominoART Challenge #16 "Spooktember - GHOSTS"

TGIF Dominoians!
Oh My Ghoul, can you believe that it's September already and time for a new DominoART challenge!  October will soon be here and so will my annual DominoART's 31 Days of Halloween Scarefest and as usual, we'll be participating in the Smeared and Smudged annual blog hop too!  So sign up now to join my Wicked Players list, click HERE for all the info, and have your altered game art featured on DominoART!

Now for September's challenge
DominoART Challenge #16
"Spooktember"
Altered game art of any kind featuring GHOSTS!

I want to see GHOSTS for this challenge!  You can make anything you want and alter any kind of game or game piece(s)
5+ entries are required to win a DominoART prize!
For 4 or less, one entrant will win a Guest Designer spot on DominoART in a future Challenge and get a snazzy badge for your blog!

For today's inspiration I've created an altered domino necklace featuring a stamped ghost and a silver ghost charm.

I stamped the ghost by Studio G with black Archival Ink onto a standard sized white domino and heat set.  The background, edges and sides of the domino are coloured with a chisel tip black Sharpie marker and I hand wrote the word "Spooky" with an ultra fine black Sharpie.  I sealed the pendant with Judikins Diamond Glaze and then wrapped silver wire around the domino and formed the pendant bail at the top with needle nose pliers.  The charm is attached to the wire frame with a jump ring and the pendant attached to the necklace made of tigertail and glass beads with a jump ring as well.  Such a fun piece to wear for Halloween!

Now it's your turn, I can't wait to see your Spooktember creations!

"Magic Bubbles" Domino Pendant - Circles Challenge at LCPtoC

Howzit Dominoians!
The new Lost Coast Portal to Creativity challenge started today, #15 is Circles.
Here's my DT share, I created an altered domino pendant using Lost Coast Designs Bubbles Border stamp.

I stamped the bubbles with black StazOn ink and coloured them with a combination of Bic pigment markers and tiny dashes of Alcohol Ink blending solution and the smaller bubbles are coloured with metallic Promarkers.  To give the pendant a huge dash of magic I applied Viva Pearl Magic Transparent White to every single dot for that fabulous dimensional sparkle!  I coloured the edges and sides of the domino with a metallic DecoColor Liquid Gold paint pen and adhered a pendant bail to the back with E6000 glue and hung the domino on a turquoise suede cord necklace.

Come and join us over at Lost Coast Portal to Creativity and Stay to Play!  See you there :0)

"Fire" Domino Pendant for Smudgy Antics Fire & Ice Challenge!

Happy Monday to you all!
I hope you all had a spooktacular Halloween! We at DominoART sure did with our 31 Days of Halloween Scarefest and blog hop with Smeared and Smudged!  I'm announcing the winners tomorrow and you've got less than 30 minutes to get your votes in!!!

 "Fire"Domino Pendant

I've got one of my "Sharpie Domino Queen" creations to share with you today for week one of Smudgy Antics new challenge "Fire and Ice"!  I used a Rick St Dennis image from Smeared Ink's exclusive Rubber Club set called "Morte".

I stamped a portion of the image onto a super-sized white domino and used Sharpie markers in my signature "Sharpie Domino Queen" style to colour the image and create a background that looks like flames.  The surface was sealed with Triple Thick gloss sealer and once dry I applied a coat of Inkssentials Matte Accents to give the stamped image a dimensional effect and added a touch of diamond glitter glue to the candle flames.  I used a DecoColor metallic gold paint pen to edge the domino before applying Tim Holtz Idea-ology script paper tape to the sides.  To make the pendant I adhered the sun bail to the front of the domino instead of the back and added a burgundy suede cord and jewelry findings to make the necklace.

Now we've got Christmas to look forward too, YAY!  I'm still needing a few more sign ups for my Merry Players list for DominoART's 12 Days of Xmas Festival and I'm also taking sign ups in advance for DominoART's 15 Days of Terror for May 2014 which is when we celebrate Half-O-Ween ;0)  Click the links above for more deets on both events!  My new DominoART challenge started November 1st too, Any Game Goes with Any Theme, so dig out your bag of miscellaneous game pieces and come and play with us!

Thank you for visiting with me today and I hope you'll come and play in our Smudgy Antics and DominoART challenges!
