Day of the Dead Domino Trinket Box
I used the following Lost Coast Designs stamps - 3 large sugar skulls
Black Nose Sugar Skull, White Nose Sugar Skull, Sugar Skull With Flower
I used 4 standard sized white dominoes to make my trinket box and a Lexicon hexagonal domino-like game piece for the lid. I also used a large die as a lid stopper and dice beads as feet. The sugar skulls were stamped onto the game pieces with black StazOn and coloured with Sharpie markers, specifically the Neon set of pink, orange, yellow and green combined with regular red and turquoise. All the sides of the pieces are painted with shimmery teal nail polish, I LOVE using nail polish on my altered game art ;0) The dominoes where adhered together with Judikins Diamond Glaze and to also adhere the die, on the lid and the feet after adding a cardboard base, and the skull bead and paper flower as the lid handle. The entire trinket box was sealed after I took the photos (to avoid glossy glare) first with Krylon Artist's Workable Fixative and then Glossy sealer.
