"Fire" Domino Pendant for Smudgy Antics Fire & Ice Challenge!

Happy Monday to you all!
I hope you all had a spooktacular Halloween! We at DominoART sure did with our 31 Days of Halloween Scarefest and blog hop with Smeared and Smudged!  I'm announcing the winners tomorrow and you've got less than 30 minutes to get your votes in!!!

 "Fire"Domino Pendant

 I've got one of my "Sharpie Domino Queen" creations to share with you today for week one of Smudgy Antics new challenge "Fire and Ice"!  I used a Rick St Dennis image from Smeared Ink's exclusive Rubber Club set called "Morte".

I stamped a portion of the image onto a super-sized white domino and used Sharpie markers in my signature "Sharpie Domino Queen" style to colour the image and create a background that looks like flames.  The surface was sealed with Triple Thick gloss sealer and once dry I applied a coat of Inkssentials Matte Accents to give the stamped image a dimensional effect and added a touch of diamond glitter glue to the candle flames.  I used a DecoColor metallic gold paint pen to edge the domino before applying Tim Holtz Idea-ology script paper tape to the sides.  To make the pendant I adhered the sun bail to the front of the domino instead of the back and added a burgundy suede cord and jewelry findings to make the necklace.  

Now we've got Christmas to look forward too, YAY!  I'm still needing a few more sign ups for my Merry Players list for DominoART's 12 Days of Xmas Festival and I'm also taking sign ups in advance for DominoART's 15 Days of Terror for May 2014 which is when we celebrate Half-O-Ween ;0)  Click the links above for more deets on both events!  My new DominoART challenge started November 1st too, Any Game Goes with Any Theme, so dig out your bag of miscellaneous game pieces and come and play with us!

Happy Nov 1st!  We've just completed our month long 31 Days of Halloween Scarefest and blog hop with Smeared and Smudged!  Phew, I'm exhausted but I'd do it again in a heart beat coz it was truly SPOOKtacular!

Now all the spooky activities are over we can start preparing for Santa, Woohoo!
DominoART likes to get festive too so come and join my Merry Players for our 12 Days of Xmas Festival!   But if you're really boo'd that Halloween is over then don't worry coz I'm also taking early sign ups for DominoART's 15 Days of Terror - Half-O-Ween in May 2014!

Any Game Goes - Any Theme

  I challenge you to alter any game of your choice with any theme.  You MUST use a real game piece of some kind in your creations.  If the pieces belong in a game and you can alter it then go for it, lets see what you can do ;0)

 November - December is a busy time for everyone so Challenge #7 will remain open a few weeks longer than normal, I will determine the end date based on how popular the challenge is :0)
