Before you get on to voting here's my Day 24 creation :0)

Amethyst Snowflakes

The snowflakes are from the Stackable Tiles Christmas stamp set by Blockheads Paper Arts.
Stamped on the white standard sized domino with Jet Black StazOn and coloured with the following Sharpie markers in my signature 'The Sharpie Domino Queen' technique:  Ocean Blue, Sky Blue, Purple, Violet and Plum.  Metallic details added with a Silver Sharpie marker.  The sides of the domino are coloured with Violet DecoColor paint marker.  The back of the domino is covered with a piece of white cardstock embossed using an embossing folder by Cuttlebug, then coloured with Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks and adhered to the back with a coat of Judikins Diamond Glaze

The entire domino, front and back, was spritzed with Vanilla Smooch Spritz for lots of yummy sparkle (which you can see in the photo above).  Two metallic silver snowflake stickers by Stampendous were added to the centers of the stamped snowflakes.  The domino edges were wrapped with 1/4" ice blue/silver ribbon and adhered with red liner double sided tape.  Two silver jump rings were added to the top and bottom edges while adding the ribbon.  The silver snowflake charm was attached to the jump ring first so that the ring join could be hidden under the ribbon.  I added a purple Stampendous jewel sticker to the snowflake charm's center on the front and the back and embellished the ornament with a bow then added the silver swirl hanging hook.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my finale ornament and now it's time to vote!  The inlinkz collection is below. Good luck to my Merry Players :0)

Day 23: UTEE Embossed Domino Ornament by Pam S!

Season's Greetings Dominoians!

It's Day 23 of
DominoART's 24 Days of Christmas

Pam S joins us again to share her stunning UTEE Embossed Domino Ornament!

Supplies Used:
Black Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel
Clear Embossing Ink
Black Staz-On Ink
Perfect Pearls - Metallic Green and Metallic Gold
Red GEO Dots
Background Rubber Stamp "Swirls"
Ball Chain

I used the Staz-On ink and inked the edges of the domino and set it used a heat gun.  I then used the clear embossing ink and covered the entire back of the domino ad poured the black UTEE onto that while wet.  I used the heat gun to melt the UTEE and, while hot, poured another layer on top of that.  I shook of the extra and heated it up again to melt.  I repeated one more time for a total of three layers.  I allowed it to cool before the next step.  Once cooled I stamped the black UTEE with the embossing ink once again and carefully applied some green and gold Perfect Pearls until the top was completely covered.  Then I heated the top up again allowing the UTEE to once again get molten and then used my background stamp and stamped onto the hot UTEE using pressure to get a deeply etched image.  I allowed the stamp to cool in place and then removed it.  Once cooled completely I added some tiny red GEO dots to smaller swirled areas of the design to give a more Christmas ornament feel.  I added the chain to the back and now I can hang it from my tree using an ornament hook or add it to a necklace for a holiday night out.  Merry Christmas one and all may God Bless you and your family this season.
See you tomorrow!

Now for my Day 18 domino creation!
Christmas Robin Tree Orament

I used a white standard domino to create this hanging tree ornament. The wonderful little Robin image is an exclusive stamp by Blockheads Paper Arts!

The image was stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink and heat set before colouring with various Sharpie markers using my signature Sharpie Domino Queen technique.  I edged and coloured the sides of the domino with the new gold Sharpie marker.  I embellished the domino with metallic silver snowflake rub-ons and spray sealed the entire piece with first Krylon Artist's Workable Fixative and then matte Krylon sealer.  I wrapped the sides of the domino with 1/4 inch red liner double sided tape and adhered a length of gold cord to the top edge before wrapping the entire domino with red and gold braided trim from Michaels.  I finished off by securing the elegant gold ornament hanger to the top of the domino by tying the gold cord into a bow.

Here's some more views of my ornament!

Day 16: Domino Goes Skiing by Sandra Y!

Season's Greetings Dominoians!

Welcome to Day 16 of
DominoART's 24 Days of Christmas Festival!
You guys are in for a real treat again today coz the amazing  Sandra Y is back to share another one of her jaw dropping domino creations :0)

First, the domino was stamped with the beautiful "sea bubble" from DesignsByRyn. I chose some green Stazon ink for the bottom, and some black Stazon for the top. Then the motives have been highlighted with markers (red) and gel pens (gold and white).

I glued two beads for the legs and a strip of cardstock for the arms. By chance, I found these funny beads (shaped hands and feet) in my daughter's bead box...thanks, honey :)  Finally, I glued a pink pompom, and two skis cut from a piece of cardstock.

The big pine tree on the left is a stamp from Inkadinkado. I inked it with both Shabby shutters and Pine needles distress inks, cut it out, then added some spots of textured paste for the snow.  The outdoor scene was stamped with a set from Vendible Stamps, and a row of pine trees from PSX.  The snow on the floor is made of Gesso and textured paste.

The “Joyeux Noël” stamp comes from Denim Tampons (a French company), and the snowflakes border was made with a Martha Steward punch.

See you again tomorrow for even more wonderful Christmas creations...DominoART style ;0)

Day 10: The North Pole by Sandra Y!

Season's Greetings Dominoians!

Welcome to DominoART's 24 Days of Christmas Festival!
You guys are in for a real treat coz  Sandra Y joins us today for Day 10 to share another one of her unbelievably creative domino creations :0)

Santa Claus: I glued a half-nutshell on my domino, and I wrapped it with scraps of red tissue paper. The “secret” of this technique consists in adding some glue during the process, (like you'd do with  “papier maché”). Two pips of the domino figure are the eyes, the others are hidden with the nose (half bead), and the belt. The hands are parts of a Quickutz die-cut.  Eyebrows, fur on the costume and belt were made with textured paste.

Mrs Claus:  She was created following the same process.  I glued two half beads on her body - Yes, I know, I have exaggerated their size a bit, but it was by Santa’s explicit request ;D - and a little bead for the nose, painted with gesso first, then acrylic paint.  I wrapped her with scraps of red tissue paper to form the dress. The fur on the dress and the hair were made with textured paste. The “Makeup” was applied with a marker.

The penguin (my favorite):  A chess pawn was painted with black and white gesso.  I then glued the feet (punched leaves), the “nose” and one wing (scraps of cardstock).

Surroundings: The North Pole sign is made of FIMO.  The outdoor scene was sponged with distress faded jean ink, and the penguins stamps come from Third Coast Rubber Stamps. The snow is made with textured paste.

Here's a closer look at the amazing details Sandra put into her North Pole creation!
