Many of you have wondered who got who into stamping & that'll be me! Bwahahaha, I'm the culprit who got both my Mom, Val S, and my Sister, Paula S-M, into rubber stamping and painting ceramics too ;0) I'm so proud of them both and you're going to see one of Paula's creations later this month too!

Now for Day 12's project by one of my DTs, DominoARTist Black Dragon!
You all know trouble comes in threes but in this case it's definitely a treat! Feast your eyes on these altered multi-game piece ornaments!
Mahjong and Poker chips Ornamnets

Materials used
3 x wooden mahjong pieces
3 x plastic poker chips
Stamps: Inkadinkadoo inchies
BD sanded the wooden pieces,
Drilled a small hole in the top and stamped
directly onto the pieces
Coloured with inktense pencils
Sealed with a
coat of artists clear satin vanish
Roughly sanded the green and red
plastic poker chips all over
The black one only had the center sanded
Drilled holes in them all
Painted the red and green ones with a
matte black acrylic paint
Added drips of red vanish
Stamped the
images onto card, cut to size
Coloured with inktense pencils
and adhered to the centers
Center images were given a
domed
coat of diamond glaze
Ribbons were added to hang them
on her
Hallowe'en tree

ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. Poker chips are plentiful but mahjong tiles I had not thought of. The bottle tree is wonderful too.
