Howzit Dominoians!
You are all in for a fabulous Guest Designer tutorial today!
Please join me in welcoming back An English Lady with Part 2 of one of her favourite techniques, clay stamping!
In the 1st part "Roses" altered domino punk style jewelry AEL created a punk themed accessory set out of dominoes by stamping into clay using a positive stamp. She also provided you with a step by step tutorial detailing how to take the technique further. Check it out if you missed it!
For this 2nd part she has created a Steampunk accessory set using a negative stamp. She increased the depth of stamping on one of the dominoes, to add drama to the piece and added metal embellishments and wire (to draw the eye in). These changes are very quick and easy to make. AEL has included a quick step by step tutorial for today's project and you can see the 3 main types of impressions on the "Roses" tutorial HERE!
For this project AEL created a Steampunk look using Docrafts' Looking Glasses Urban Stamp. As an English Lady she loves to support British Companies, which create good quality products and best of all these are available in the States too.
Please click on each photo to enlarge and follow along with her tutorial!
We would love to see your projects using the clay technique too so feel free to share links to your projects in the comments of this post!
Enjoy!
