Welcome to Day 24 of DominoART's
My Wicked Players and I are still going strong in DominoART's 5th 31 DOH scarefest and this spooktacular blog hop brought to us by Smeared Ink! If you've
been hopping with us from the beginning then you arrived here via Sue and your next stop is Lost Coast Portal to Creativity. It's not too late to join the fun if you just stopped by for the first time today, all the hop info can be found on Terra's blog.
There's lots of sponsor prizes to be won each and
every day! The Smeared Ink Blog Hop roll is over there
in my right hand side bar if you'd like to join the fun!
It's me again, Leigh S-B, and I'm back today to share another one of my altered domino coasters. This time I've got a very colourful Day of the Dead coaster featuring one of Smeared Ink's Llorona rubber stamps and the border stamp from the Autumn's Pencil Zentangle inspired rubber stamp set I designed for Smeared Ink.
Autumn's Pencil is unavailable from SI at the moment but if you're interested in adding my stamp set to your collection then please contact me ;0)
Supplies used
Smeared Ink - Llorona rubber stamp
Leigh S-B Designs (SI) - Autumn's Pencil
8 standard size white dominoes
Sharpie markers
StazOn Jet Black ink
Judikins Diamond Glaze
Cork Coaster - Michaels
E6000 adhesive
The
dominoes were stamped with StazOn ink and coloured with Sharpie markers in my signature Sharpie Domino Queen style.
The dominoes are adhered together with Judikins Diamond Glaze and then
adhered to the cork coaster with E6000 adhesive. The sides of the
dominoes are coloured with black Sharpie. The entire coaster is sealed
with Judikins Diamond Glaze for a glass-like finish (done after the
photos were taken to avoid the glare in my pix).
Smeared Ink is the clawesome sponsor for DominoART 31 Days of Halloween Scarefest's Grand Prize this year! DeleteGorgeous coaster, but you know I'm really just here for your dolls.
ReplyDeleteMouette is wonderful!!! I may have to look into that layaway thing...
LOL, you're under their spell now Glow! Resistance is futile! My friend's Mouette is quite a character, she's a hat stealer and runs off with Evie's hats and orders more on the web if you don't keep an eye on her at all times ;0) So beware, Mouettes are trouble ;0) bwahahahahha!
DeleteAnother fabulous coaster! Love how you've combined the Llorona stamp with the Autumn's Pencil border--I would never have thought to put those two together, but they look great.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah :0)
