Welcome to Day 19 of 31 Days of Halloween!
Charlotte F, a member of our DominoART Yahoo Group, joins us today to share her spooktacular vintage style Domino Pick that's a perfect decorative item for party centerpieces and even to spruce up your plant pots for the holiday!
SUPPLIES
Tissue Paper, Vintage Image, Blue Colored pencil, Future floor wax, Fixitive spray, Silver Brad Bat, Orange rosette, Skewer, Orange & black ribbon, Black Sharpie and Black Distress Ink.
Charlotte printed the image onto tissue paper and coloured the background with a blue colored pencil.
She set the design with spray fixative and then adhered it to the domino with Future Floor Wax. She coloured the sides of the domino black with a sharpie marker and applied another coat of Future Floor Wax. Charlotte then drilled a hole into the top of the domino for the brad bat. Before she glued the domino to the rosette she edge the rosette with Distress Ink and then adhered the entire piece to the skewer. She finished off her vintage piece with orange and black ribbon tied to the skewer.
