Welcome Gothic Souls to
Day 11 of 31 Days of Halloween!
Heidi Q aka Crafty Q joins us today for with her freakishly cool Frankenstein domino necklace! I'd scream 'RUN' if it wasn't too late coz he's seen you now bbbbbhhhaaaaaaaa!
In the words of Crafty Q....I've loved Frankenstein since I was a little girl (I think I was "Goth" before anyone knew what it meant!). I imagine Frankenstein's bride wearing this pendant to keep her beloved close to her heart.
Supplies:
Domino
Ranger alcohol ink: Pitch Black, Slate, Meadow, Silver
Stamp by Viva Las Vegas Stamps
3M multipurpose transparency film
aluminum tape
Judikins Diamond Glaze
bolts
e6000 adhesive
small eye screw
Directions:
Drill a small hole on top of the domino and glue in a small eye screw. Color domino with alcohol inks. The stamp was too big for a domino so I stamped it onto white card stock and scanned the image to my computer. Import the image into Word and make it the size to fit a domino and print onto the transparency film. Cut the image out and glue it on the domino with Diamond Glaze; let dry. Cut strips of aluminum tape to fit the edges of the domino with a slight overlap to the front and color the tape with alcohol inks to give a distressed look. Glue bolts to the side and once dry color with alcohol inks. Give a final coat of Diamond Glaze to the image area and once dry attach to a string or beads of ribbon of choice.
See you tomorrow for Day 12 of 31 Days of Halloween and don't forget to visit all the blogs in the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween blog hop for the chance to win lots of SAS prizes!! See Terra's blog if you're late to the freak show!
Happy Haunting and Domino Hugs!
